New Jersey (Swathi – Reporter): The ‘USA Alumni Meet 2023,’ organized under the auspices of the Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) for alumni of its affiliated colleges, was a resounding success. Held with great enthusiasm on Saturday, September 30, this event brought together alumni and their families from the prestigious Sri Vishnu Educational Society Group of Colleges in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The venue was the elegant Royal Albert Palace in New Jersey Fords, where the proceedings commenced at 11 am with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a heartfelt tribute to Padma Shri Dr. B.V. Raju, a prominent figure in SVES history.
Established 26 years ago, SVES Narsapur has nurtured a robust alumni association in the United States, drawing graduates from the very first batch up to 2021. Shri KV Vishnu Raju, the Chairman of Sri Vishnu Educational Society, took the opportunity to provide insight into the institution’s history, growth, and educational philosophy.
The alumni in attendance reveled in nostalgic conversations, fondly reminiscing about their college days and warmly reconnecting with former classmates and friends.
SVES has devised a comprehensive plan for the ‘USA Alumni Meet 2023,’ with events scheduled at three locations across America. The New Jersey event on September 30 was the kickoff, and the festivities will continue in Florida (Orlando) on Saturday, October 7, before concluding in Dallas (Texas) on Sunday, October 8.
The program was graced by the presence of eminent figures, including Chairman Mr. KV Vishnu Raju, Vice Chairman Ravichandran Rajagopal, Secretary K. Aditya Vissam, and Dr. M.A.K.V Raju, Director of Vishnu Dental College.
The participating colleges represented a diverse spectrum of educational excellence, including BV Raju Institute of Technology – Narsapur, Vishnu Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research – Narsapur, BVRIT Hyderabad, College of Engineering for Women, Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women – Bhimavaram, Sri Vishnu Institute of Technology – Bhimavaram, BV Raju Institute of Computer Education – Bhimavaram, Sri Vishnu College of Pharmacy – Bhimavaram, and Vishnu Dental College – Bhimavaram. Alumni and their families from all these institutions came together to celebrate this special occasion, fostering a sense of unity and pride in their shared educational journey.
