Jeddah: An interactive meeting was held with volunteer teachers and school principals to discuss the curriculum and guidelines for conducting live Tamil classes during weekend holidays. The session focused on structuring lessons for the 80 registered children from UKG to second grade. Additionally, it was announced that the next meeting will take place on Friday, where registered children and their parents will be briefed about the upcoming sessions.

On behalf of Jeddah Tamil Sangam, Mr. Prem warmly welcomed all attendees of the meeting. Mr. Murthy honoured the guests with floral bouquets, followed by Mr. Siraj, who provided an insightful overview of Jeddah Tamil Sangam’s services and emphasized the significance of the Tamil Language Training Centre.

The school principals and Tamil teachers from international schools, who attended as special invitees, were honoured for their participation. Subsequently, Dr. Jayasree explained the concept and purpose of the Tamil Language Training Centre, while Professor Hema Raja and Professor Thangam Mahendran provided a detailed overview of the curriculum.

Mr. Parthiban and Mr. Senthil introduced the volunteers, while Mrs. Satya Thangam outlined the instructions and action plans for the teachers. The event, meticulously organized by the members of Jeddah Tamil Sangam and elegantly compered by Mr. Sivakumar, concluded with a detailed presentation by Mr. Jai Shankar on the next phase of the Tamil Training Centre, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Kaja Mohideen.

The audience appreciated and congratulated Jeddah Tamil Sangam for its remarkable initiative in establishing the Tamil Language Training Centre, recognizing it as a significant step toward preserving and promoting the Tamil language and culture among young learners.
