Another crime thriller has hit the screens of Tollywood. ‘PLAY’ is an experimental film. Produced by Nadigadda Rajasulochana, director MOKSSH’s ‘Play’ released on November 18 with much anticipation. How is the movie so far? What kind of experiment took place in the movie? Let’s find out in Review Report.
STORY:
On a Sunday night, the protagonist Vikram who is an intelligence officer on duty gets a call that a murder happened at shamshabad farmhouse from their subordinates. When he investigates the farmhouse murder case he is getting calls one by one like kidnaps and murders happening in different places in the city. Vikram gets confused and cannot understand what’s going on. Every murder and kidnap was happening very strategically. Suddenly he gets the call from antagonist Shiva who is doing all these things with his team. Shiva gives “ six “ hours to solve so many tasks to Vikram. Why Shiva does all these things and how Vikram solves the murder and kidnap mysteries in one night. That is the story of the movie.
ACTORS:
Vikram is the main character in this movie. Abhinav Singh Raghav has done this challenging role very well. He was a plus point for the movie. And Sriram’s firmness in the role of Shiva is impressive. Gajala as Vaishnavi, Naina Sharma as Nakshatra, Ishaan Yadav as Ajay, Pridvi Dandamudi as Manohar, Maruti Sakaran as Minister, Munna as Sanjay, Jayant as Karthik and Ranjeet as Rahul have played their respective roles.
TECHNICAL:
Director MOKSSH succeeds in using all the departments technically. Along with writing, directing, composing and editing, Mokssh seemed super. Cinematographer PL Ram Prasad’s work is good in making it look like a crime thriller. Graphic scenes of more than an hour, new age background score, reverse screenplay… can be said to be the main highlights of the movie. Uncompromising making visuals and racy gripping screenplay can hold breathe of the audience.
ANALYSIS:
PLAY movie is a Crime thriller revenge love story. It happened in one night. It runs with an interesting story throughout. It must be said that director Mokssh has succeeded in bringing the revenge love story as a crime thriller. It is seen on screen that the budget has been put in a suitable manner for the story without compromising anywhere. New type of graphics, reverse screen play.. give a new experience. movie lovers will like PLAY Movie very much.
