Hanamkonda: The unveiling and dedication ceremony of the book Shilaksharam, written by renowned writer Gannoju Prasad, was held grandly under the auspices of the National Literary Council and Devagiri Patnam Parivar. The event, presided over by Tadicherla Ravi, was a remarkable literary gathering.
Eminent scholar Professor Kasireddy Venkata Reddy was the chief guest and officially unveiled the book. The book was dedicated to Dodd Pratap Reddy, the founder of DNR Trust. The event took place at Sama Jaganmohan Reddy Memorial Hall in Hanamkonda.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Kasireddy Venkata Reddy highlighted the profound impact of Shilaksharam poetry, stating that it conveys a powerful message to society through intricately sculpted verses. He compared the essence of the book to the greatness found in Gatha Saptashati and Sakala Neeti Katha Sangraham, commending its literary depth. He also urged the National Literary Council to continue promoting reformist poetry in society.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including National Literary Council State President Aanjaneya Raju, Chakravarti Srinivas, Potlapalli Srinivasa Rao, Gaddam Laxman, Bompelli Dilip Rao, Anuradha, and Chilakamarri Sanjeev, among others.
